We are assaulted everyday by chemicals, pollutants, heavy metals and many others toxic ingredients. That is why our skincare routine cannot be as simple as our motherâs was!! In our search for beautiful, radiant, glowing skin we must first start with what we are using on our skin everyday. Your skin is your largest organ for eliminating waste and toxins from your body, and the most important immune defense barrier we have. You cannot have total health without healthy skin. Each month our skin renews itself, and duplicates itself every 24-40days. That means we have the opportunity to replace and renew our skin with healthier cells.
Commercial products filled with inexpensive and harmful petroleum ingredients clog our pores allowing toxins and germs to enter our body. Because of the self regulation rule granted to the FDA in 1938 over the cosmetic industry, cosmetic products are marketed without government approval of ingredients, regardless of what tests show!! Cosmetics are not considered to be as serious as drugs or food. Most of the 25,000 chemicals that used are not tested for long term toxic effects.
