What do we mean by "pure" and "natural?"

Our product lines use safe, paraben-free preservatives. Synthetic preservatives like parabens have been linked to estrogenic activity. We strive to use certified organic and biodynamic products as much as possible.

Because of the self-regulation rule granted to the FDA in 1938 over the cosmetic industry, cosmetic products are marketed without government approval of ingredients, regardless of what tests show! Cosmetics are not considered to be as serious as drugs or food. Most of the 25,000 chemicals that are used are not tested for long-term toxic effects. On any given day you may be exposed to over 200 different chemicals, many are suspected of causing cancer, heavy-metal toxicity, and interfering with your hormones.

We now know that the skin absorbs some of these ingredients and can, in some cases, cause serious side effects to occur as toxins are compounded over decades of use.

Using natural products that are free of toxins is one of the first steps to achieving total health and well being (and beautiful, glowing skin of course!).
